After the war, Alexander returns not to the life he fought for, but to the ruins of memory. ashesknowpeace drifts between past and present, tracing the ghost of a relationship he never returned to - a love buried beneath duty, silence, and time. Told through fragmented imagery and sparse narration, the film meditates on grief, lost potential, and the quiet ache of what might have been. A portrait of a man haunted equally by war itself than by the tenderness he abandoned.
